Laurens Groeneveld

Laurens Groeneveld is a journalist with over a decade of experience in writing articles, producing documentaries, podcasts, and radio shows. His reporting focuses on disinformation, foreign political and economic influence, international relations, and the arms industry. He has collaborated with media and journalists throughout Europe on long-running investigations, sometimes leading projects with as many as eight partners at once.

Since Russia’s large-scale invasion, Laurens has reported extensively on the rearmament of Europe and the military support for Ukraine, together with partners such as Investigace.cz, Delfi and Schemes, RFE/RL’s Ukrainian Service. In the last five years, he also reported on how Russia tried to influence Dutch politics and organized multiple debates and events about disinformation in Amsterdam and the Hague in the Netherlands.
