Tijdens redactievergaderingen\, in onderhandeling met eindredacteur of om überhaupt binnen te komen bij een medium heb je een goede pitch nodig. Hoe je een goede pitch formuleert leer je in dit college. Daarnaast wordt er dieper ingegaan op onderhandelen. Een van de grootste ergernissen van freelancers is dat er zo slecht wordt betaald voor journalistiek werk. Toch valt er meer te onderhandelen dan je denkt. Hoe pak je dit aan en hoe maak je van een onderhandeling een succes? \nPraktisch\nDit is een twee uur durende interactieve les op locatie. Ben je verhinderd of volg je deze les liever thuis. Dat kan! Vanwege corona kiezen we ervoor om fysiek les te geven met een vaste livestream-verbinding voor mensen die niet naar ALab (kunnen) komen. In Alab hebben we een lokaal van 80m2 waar we de 1\,5 meter afstand tussen deelnemers en docenten kunnen waarborgen. Via webcam met goede audio apparatuur verzorgen we een live verbinding met deelnemers en docenten die niet fysiek aanwezig zullen zijn. Dat kan verschillende redenen hebben; beginnende klachten van verkoudheid\, opzien tegen een reis met het OV of een gezinslid met klachten zijn allemaal logische aanleidingen om gebruik te maken van de digitale verbinding.  \nOver de docent\nGeesje van Haren richtte Verspers.nl op in 2005.
